Rea Road Animal Hospital

Hospital Policies

Our goal is to keep our practice running smoothly so that we can better serve each patients’ unique needs and provide the best care possible. We ask that our clients follow a few simple policies:

Appointment Policy

With the exception of unforeseeable circumstances, our practice operates on scheduled appointments so that we can spend sufficient time with each patient and also minimize time spent in the waiting room.

In order to make an appointment, we recommend that clients call in advance to schedule a desired time. After the initial visit is over, you may schedule your pet’s next visit during the check-out process. We ask that if you cannot make your scheduled appointment to call us as soon as possible. This will allow us to see other patients in need of care.

Patient Arrival Policy

A few things to highlight when arriving to our clinic:

  • We kindly ask that all dogs be kept on a non-retractable or locked leash and cats to remain in carriers.
  • If you know your pet has biting issues, please muzzle them.
  • If you are concerned your pet has a condition that may be contagious, please let us know ahead of time and we will make proper arrangements so that they are not in contact with other pets or clients.

Payment Policy

We thank you in advance for understanding that in order to provide our clients with the most advanced veterinary medicine possible, we ask that all payments be made in full at the time of the appointment.

We accept:

  • Cash
  • Debit Cards
  • American Express
  • MasterCard
  • Discover
  • Visa
  • Checks*
  • Apple Pay
  • CareCredit®

To help plan a budget for your veterinary medical expenses, we can offer an estimate prior to your appointment. Please inquire at the front desk or give us a call.

*We cannot accept checks without a valid state-issued ID.

Drop-Off Policy

For current clients, a drop-off policy is available. Please call and give us notice in advance so that we can provide information about drop-off times and check-out procedures. Once the doctor has seen your pet, a staff member will contact you to discuss your pet’s appointment.

Pets are required to be current on vaccines prior to drop-off. If you are unsure if your pet is up-to-date, please ask a member of our front office team to check your pet’s medical records.
